The Connecticut Irrigation Contractors will be offering J3 and J4 license continuing education requirements on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell, Conn.
Registration is at 7 a.m., with the class starting promptly at 7:30 a.m. Participants will receive seven credit hours for J3 license holders and five credit hours for J4 license holders. The class will meet the J3 requirements for the October 31, 2012 renewal and the J4 requirements for the October 31, 2011 renewal.
Throughout the day, attendees will reinforce and learn about hydraulics, irrigation components, wire and electrical principles, irrigation system scheduling, review state laws and regulations regarding irrigation and EPA WaterSense. The instructor is Ted Moriarty.
Materials, continental breakfast and breaks are included in registration; lunch is included for J3 attendees. Member cost is $285 for J3 license holders (seven hours) or $195 for J4 license holders (five hours). Non-member cost is $335 for J3 or $245 for J4 license holders. Registration fee after November 25 is $360 for J3 and $270 for J4. Cost includes continental breakfast & lunch for J3 participants.
