Arysta LifeScience Names Hewett President and CEO
Arysta LifeScience has named Wayne Hewett president and chief executive officer. He will succeed Chris Richards, who will become chairman of the Arysta LifeScience board of directors.
Hewett joined Arysta in 2009 as chief operating officer and has worked to further the company’s efforts to drive global operational excellence and execute management’s initiatives companywide. Prior to joining Arysta, he worked for more than 20 years with various international divisions of GE, and was a member of GE’s Corporate Executive Council. He has a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University.
Tourney Fungicide Registered for Use in California
Tourney Fungicide from Valent Professional Products has been registered by the EPA for use by turf professionals in California. It can be used for disease control in turfgrass on golf courses, lawns and landscape areas around residential, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings, parks, recreational areas, athletic fields and sod farms in the state of California. This means the fungicide is now registered for use in all states except Alaska and New York.
PBI/Gordon’s T-Zone Label Available in Spanish
A Spanish version of the label for T-Zone Broadleaf Herbicide for Tough Weeds is now available on the PBI/Gordon Web site, www.pbigordon.com.
The company will continue to add Spanish versions of their product labels and MSDS information to the Web site as they become available.
