EPA Grants Bayer Re-Registration of Triadimefon for Lawns
The EPA has recently re-registered Triadimefon for use on residential turf. Triadimefon is the active ingredient in Bayleton G fungicide from Bayer Environmental Science and can be used to treat dollar spot, brown patch, fairy ring, anthracnose and other key turf diseases.
SipcamAdvan Announces Appointments
SipcamAdvan has appointed Bob Yarborough as senior national accounts manager and George Furrer as director of specialty business.
Yarborough will focus on maintaining and building SipcamAdvan relationships with customers, as well as have responsibility for the Biocides and Home and Garden businesses.
Furrer will have responsibility for both the marketing and sales of the Turf and Ornamental segments, including sales management.
Agrium Advanced Technologies Promotes Novak
Agrium Advanced Technologies has promoted Jeff Novak to vice president, marketing and innovation.
Novak will be responsible for strategic marketing planning and expanding markets for the company’s product lines. He will also oversee day-to-day operations of the marketing and innovation department. He joined Agrium in 2009 as senior director of marketing through the CPS acquisition of UAP. H has more than 20 years’ experience in the fertilizer and agricultural products business and has held numerous roles with CPS/UAP, including Northern Plains general manager, national accounts director and Loveland Products, Inc. marketing director. He has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from North Dakota State University.
