Husqvarna in 2011 launched a new website and now the mobile version takes it to the next level. The mobile site was tailor-made for mobile units, such as smartphones.

"More people use their phones to access the web to find information and that’s a need we’re looking to meet. We want to make it possible for our users to receive information quickly, even when they’re not close to their computers," says David Hagstro?m, cigital media manager. He adds, "We’ll be launching around 30 mobile websites in different languages to meet the needs of our markets."

The mobile website contains information pertaining to products, support and contacts.  Several interactive functions include:
. Dealer locator function helps user find the closest Husqvarna supplier, either via GPS
or by choosing a location.
. Tool guide directs the user to the right tool for a certain application.
. Access to the product catalog.
