Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. Engine and Power Products Division has appointed Paul Johnson to the newly created position of regional sales manager.
Johnson’s 23 years of industry sales experience, and the last 11 years with Golden Eagle Distributing Corporation, also includes national responsibilities as a product trainer. At Kawasaki, he will oversee eight of the company’s district manager sales team, primarily encompassing the middle section of the United States.
With an ever-expanding sales base, we saw the need to create a supervisory position that would provide even more support to the retail and wholesale needs in the field, and Paul’s past industry involvement puts us in a position to better serve that direction,” said Karen Howard, national sales manager-dealer channel.
Johnson has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Western Michigan University, and several years of experience as both a district and regional sales manager.  He will maintain an office at the company’s Grand Rapid, Mich., headquarters, but will spend the majority of his time in the field with the sales team and dealers.
