Dozens of landscape professionals, in town to attend the Green Industry Conference, the nation’s largest landscape educational conference and outdoor equipment EXPO, volunteered their time to enhance the outdoor green spaces in downtown Louisville. 
Fifty members of PLANET, the national trade association of landscape professionals, lent their professional skills and materials to help improve downtown Louisville.
Projects included an outdoor learning area being installed at Engelhard Elementary School, and Bridgehaven Mental Health Services received an outdoor BBQ and picnic area; a continuation of last year’s project at the site.
