The 2008 Minnesota Green Expo will take place January 9-11, 2008, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) and the Minnesota Turf & Grounds Foundation (MTGF) are partners in the regional trade show and educational program which targets a broad spectrum of green industry professionals.

All of it: products, accessories, educational seminars, marketing and business workshops, parties, receptions and networking. It’s all business, and it’s all at Expo. Make it your business to be there in January, or you’ll be left behind!

The show’s audience includes nursery and greenhouse growers; garden center operators; landscape and irrigation contractors; landscape designers; lawn, tree and gardening professionals; golf course and park superintendents; school and cemetery grounds supervisors; sports turf managers; and arborists. Over 8,000 green industry professionals are expected to attend from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Hotel information

The Hyatt Regency will be the headquarters hotel for the 2008 Minnesota Green Expo. The Hyatt is connected by skyway to the Minneapolis Convention Center, as well as to shopping, dining and entertainment venues. Guest rooms include amenities such as in-room movies, large work desks with two-line phones and voice mail. The hotel features a fully equipped health club and indoor heated swimming pool, as well as sauna and Jacuzzi. Discounted room rates available: $91. Expo luncheons

All members of the green industry are invited to attend two luncheons that will be offered at the Minnesota Green Expo by the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association.

MNLA Legislative Luncheon—January 9
On Wednesday, January 9, the MNLA will host a Legislative Luncheon. The luncheon will begin at noon in Ballroom B at the Convention Center. Speakers will discuss state and national legislative and regulatory issues of concern to the green industry. Tickets for the luncheon cost only $12 and include a sandwich buffet.

MNLA Awards Luncheon-January 10
The MNLA will host its annual Awards Luncheon at the Minnesota Green Expo on Thursday, January 10 beginning at noon in Ballroom B at the Convention Center. Tickets will be $25 in advance and, if tickets remain, they may be purchased onsite at the Expo Information Desk for $30.

The awards luncheon has always been an enjoyable venue for the industry to celebrate and review the successes of the past year with award winners, scholarship recipients and grant recipients.  

Note that tickets (including those ordered in advance) will be available for pick up at the Expo Information Desk. No tickets will be mailed.
