The Penn Atlantic Nursery Trade Show (PANTS) has made its mark as the green industry event that provides the best summer opportunity to network with suppliers. As the first show of the buying season, PANTS offers the first opportunity to find out what the hot new trends are so you can jump ahead of the competition. See what’s new, learn the trends and talk to over 500 exhibiting companies about how to make the most out of your spring season!

Monday

Garden Center Tour
8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The tour will operate rain or shine.

Cost (includes lunch & transportation): $74 Limited Seating

The Garden State will not disappoint you this year as we have identified two family owned and operated garden centers that will provide you two different ways of building a successful business with hard work and determination. In addition is a special visit to a private garden located on Long Beach. This will be one of those days that you return home and feel great about the industry you work in.

Reynold’s Garden Shop, “Little Beach Farm” and Bob’s Garden Center will be stops on the tour.

NJNLA Golf Tournament
1 p.m.

Harbor Pines Golf Course, Egg Harbor Township, N.J.

Sponsored by the New Jersey Nursery & Landscape Association Foundation, this annual event provides an exciting day of golf, dinner, drinks and a comedy show! Growers Tour
8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

This tour will operate rain or shine.

The New Jersey Nursery & Landscape Association (NJNLA) has planned this year’s Growers Tour presenting three premier growers from the Garden State. A great opportunity to network with industry professionals. Let us do the driving while you do the talking.

The Growers Tour will be visiting Quinton Nursery, Dean’s Evergreens and Centerton Nursery.

The following classes will be held in the Outdoor Living Pavilion in the PANTS Park. Brought to you by Andes Collections and the Design Gallery, these classes each provide 1 LU for American Institute of Architects (AIA) certification, 1 CEU for PA State Certification of Landscape Architects and CEUs for both Certified Landscape Technicians (CLTs) and PA Certified Horticulturists (PCHs).

Cost: $25 per attendee per session Limited Seating for Classes

•Introduction to Residential Lighting Controls

•Installation of Manufactured Stone Veneer in a Commercial Setting

10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
•Moisture Management for Tile Showers

PANTS Hands-On Training Pavilion

EP Henry’s Hands-On Basic Installation Training

Two Sessions Available:
9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Basic Paver
1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Basic Wall
Cost: $49 per attendee per session Limited Seating for Classes

The training sessions will focus on learning the construction specs and proper installation techniques for pavers and walls.

Each 2.5-hour training seminar is limited to 25 contractors at a time.

Remember that proper work clothes and work boots are mandatory.

Back by popular demand, Judy Sharpton in her Retail Ready program will present items from exhibitors throughout the show floor and show you how you can best market them in your own garden center.

9:30 – 11:15 a.m. Judy’s Small Group Consultation with Garden Centers: Bring photos of your store, floor plan, etc. and join Judy’s small groups for an hour of brainstorming each day on ways to solve your problems and enhance your own particular garden center. Working with consultants can cost thousands of dollars, but here’s your opportunity to work in a small group with the garden center expert.
