Circle of Blue Founder J. Carl Ganter to Keynote WaterSmart

J. Carl Ganter, co-founder and director of Circle of Blue, will keynote the opening plenary session at this year’s WaterSmart Innovations Conference.

Ganter’s Circle of Blue is an internationally recognized center for original frontline reporting, research and analysis on water resource issues and their relationship to food and energy.
 
Ganter is an award-winning photojournalist, reporter and broadcaster whose work has appeared in most major magazines, newspapers and television and radio networks. He was recently recognized for his work with the Rockefeller Foundation Centennial Innovation Award 2012 and is vice chairman of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Water Security. As a world traveler, Ganter has a broad perspective on water issues worldwide that he’ll be sharing with WaterSmart attendees.
 
The WaterSmart Innovations Conference is the largest urban-water efficiency conference of its kind in the world. The Southern Nevada Water Authority and other forward-thinking organizations are presenting the Conference. The fifth-annual WSI will be held Oct. 3-5 at the South Point Hotel and Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nev.
