SAVANNAH, Ga. — JCB recently earned the 2015-Mid Sized Company TAG (Technology Across Georgia) Excalibur award for its work with JCB FieldCommand, a program developed by the IT, Marketing/Salesforce and National Accounts team to support large fleets.

The annual TAG Excalibur Awards celebrate Georgia companies and organizations that demonstrate the best use of technology to solve complex issues and processes that impact their operations.

JCB FieldCommand provides instant visibility when a machine goes down. A case is then created in JCB FieldCommand through Salesforce which interfaces with a GPS software system that provides Service Team Member locations. The case is then sent to the nearest technician. The real time visibility of both technician and down machines allows active management of large fleets to maximize uptime.

“Our customers appreciate this out-of-the-box solution that has already made a significant impact on their businesses by helping to keep their fleets up and running,” said Steve Fox, JCB VP of National Accounts. “In fact, the program has been so successful we will be introducing it on a global scale for use by the rest of JCB’s business units.”
