Margaret Frith Dies; Wife of Lawn Doctor’s Russ Frith

Margaret Frith, wife of Lawn Doctor founder Russ Frith and mother of CEO Scott Frith died April 27 in Florida. Her obituary:

Margaret Isabel Frith, 67, of Estero, FL and Brielle, N.J. passed away at Gulf Coast Medical Center, Ft. Meyers, FL with her family by her side. Margaret was born and raised in Altoona, PA and had lived in Philadelphia and Bucks County before moving to Jackson, N.J.

In Jackson, Margaret and her husband Russell raised their two boys. Margaret was a LPN, practicing nursing for five years. She worked for the Chamber of Commerce of Wall and Jackson before becoming the Executive Director of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce. She then became Chief of Staff for Senator Robert Singer for ten years.

She was very active with numerous charities including: American Cancer Society, Road to Recovery, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Rally for the Cure, Meals on Wheels, Jackson Women of Today, among others. Margaret was honored with the Jackson Woman of the Year in 2002. She led an active lifestyle including church activities, golf, cards, travel and time with friends.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 45 years, Russell James Frith, Sr.; her son, Russell Frith, Jr.; son, Scott Frith and his wife Stephanie; two grandchildren, Ava and Grayson, and two sisters, Nancy Kaps and Nellie Brumbaugh.
