Thousand Oaks, Calif.-A one-stop speakers bureau for Green Industry event planners and professional Green Industry speakers was recently formed to provide a better way for turf associations, landscape contractor associations, green industry expos, and trade show event planners to find and book high-quality speakers. The Green Industry Speakers Bureau only represents speakers whose topics pertain to the green industry.

Robin Westmiller, J.D., former president of Westmiller & Associates, Glendale, Calif., formed the Bureau. For the past two years, Westmiller was the head staff writer for a national green industry trade publication where she made many friends in the Green Industry, including professional speakers and association event planners.

"In the past, meeting planners had to spend hours collecting and going through dozens of
applications to find the perfect speaker and topic for their event," says Westmiller in a news release. "Speakers, in turn, needed to spend hours submitting applications, making follow-up phone calls and negotiating fees. Now, event planners can find exactly what they need by going to our website, choosing a topic and the speaker they want, and we do the rest for both the speaker and the meeting planner," she added.

The Bureau offers professional speakers access to more than 100 state and national green industry association events. With Bureau representation, speakers have additional opportunity to increase their speaking engagements without sacrificing time away from their companies to market their programs.

Among the current speakers under contract are Jody Shilan, Jason Cupp, Brad Groff, Mark
Simmons, Steve Windhager, Tony Bass and Paul Gosselin.
