CLEVELAND, Ohio – In honor of Military Family Appreciation Month and Veteran’s Day, Project EverGreen announces the expansion of two its most popular initiatives that provide military personal and their families with complimentary and much-needed outdoor services.

Both Green Care for Troops (GCFT) and SnowCare for Troops (SCFT) programs will be expanded to include wounded and disabled veterans in addition to families of currently deployed military personnel with lawn care, landscape and snow and ice removal services.

The GCFT initiative, underwritten by Toro, currently serves more than 10,000 families with 4,500 lawn care and landscape contractors participating. Its sister initiative, SCFT, underwritten by BOSS Snowplow, currently serves more than 3,750 families with nearly 1,400 snow and ice contractors volunteered to provide these much needed services.

BOSS will extend their support of the SnowCare for Troops program for a fifth season. For more information on participating or signing up a military family for Project EverGreen’s SnowCare for Troops or its sister program GreenCare for Troops, visit www.ProjectEvergreen.org.
