One hundred years ago this month, over 5,000 women marched on Washington, D.C., to bring attention to the gross misrepresentation of women in our society. Today, women are heralded as the leaders of tomorrow in the fields of education, business, military and politics. The Grounds Guys Landscape Management celebrates March and Women’s History Month by recognizing Doris Dollins, owner of The Grounds Guys of Charlottesville.

I was raised to believe I could achieve anything I set my mind to,” stated Dollins. “I have worked very hard to achieve the success I have experienced, and am proud of my accomplishments in this industry."

Dollins, owner of The Grounds Guys of Charlottesville, is a 17-year veteran of the United States Postal Service, and has worked hard to achieve both personal and professional goals. In one year, Dollins has experienced an increase in both revenue and sales through the application of solid business skills, a focus on customer care, and the utilization of available resources.  “I am excited to be reaching our business goals and look forward to exceeding them in the future.”

Women, like Dollins, who have embraced the opportunities afforded them by our ancestors’ struggles, continue proudly paving the path for future generations of female business leaders to walk.
