UNION, Mo. – Hard winters can bring hard times for a lot of people. They can also bring good news to communities. This years’ harsh winter allowed The Grounds Guys of Union to be able to donate $1,100 in food and toiletries to the Union Food Pantry.
The harsh winter conditions that have been sweeping throughout most of the U.S. have had The Grounds Guys of Union working a lot of extra hours, which allowed them to donate to the food pantry.
The Food Pantry received personal and food items, which helped the community members who depend on the Union Food Pantry services. The Union Food Pantry is a Christian outreach program that receives help from donations and the United Way. They serve the areas of Union and Villa Ridge.
