BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Horticulture and landscape students from across the country are gearing up for the 39th annual (PLANET) Student Career Days at North Carolina State University in Raleigh from March 12–15 . The Toro Company will continue its sponsorship of the educational program by hosting a workshop on environmentally friendly business practices.
The environmental sustainability workshop will be presented by Toro’s chief agronomist, Dr. Van Cline, and will focus primarily on the need for efficient use of resources and technology solutions that allow landscape professionals to promote sustainable practices in their operations.
In addition to the workshop, Toro is a major sponsor for the Student Career Days event and is a Platinum Ambassador for PLANET’s Academic Excellence Foundation (AEF), awarding an annual scholarship to a PLANET student. The scholarship will be presented to the recipient during the event.
