MEMPHIS, Tenn. – TruGreen has donated more than $125,000 to several local and national charities through the company’s Lawn Stars program. As part of the program, TruGreen awards local branch teams that have demonstrated exceptional growth with a $2,000 donation towards any charity of their choice.

The organizations TruGreen selected to receive donations from the 2014 Lawn Stars program include:

  • American Red Cross
  • Boys & Girls Clubs
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • The Salvation Army
  • Feed the Hungry
  • St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
  • Wounded Warriors Project
  • Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation
  • Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Each quarter, the TruGreen Lawn Stars program recognizes 21 local sales and service teams that lead their respective regions in customers growth. Each winning branch was supported in making a $2,000 donation to their chosen charity-a decision which may not have been easy given the thousands of remarkable organizations in need. However, the impact the donations have had on these nine charities has been a special gift to and from TruGreen employees.
