Industry leaders will once again meet in Columbus, Ohio, for the annual Ohio Turfgrass Foundation Conference and Show. This year’s event, being held Dec. 4-6 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, will feature nearly 100 hours of world-class education, including multiple sessions tailored to meet the needs of lawn care and landscape professionals.
New to the Conference and Show in 2012 is the Lawn & Landscape Symposium, a day of education developed with lawn care and landscape company owners and operators in mind. The Symposium will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 5, and will feature some of the green industry’s top speakers, including Bob Coulter of JP Horizons and Phil Harwood of Pro-Motion Consulting. Coulter and Harwood will focus on growing your business through the development of your workforce. Additionally, Rob Palmer and Shaun Kanary of Weed Pro, along with Keith Gutierrez of Structure Marketing will discuss some of the latest tools companies are utilizing to maximize their ROI in marketing and advertising.
After a day of top-notch education, you’ll want to take the opportunity to socialize with your colleagues at the Lawn & Landscape Symposium Reception presented by Holganix and Advanced Turf Solutions. This will be an opportunity to share ideas and network in a fun and relaxed environment. Invitations to the reception will be handed out during the day’s education sessions.
As always, the OTF Conference and Show will feature presentations about industry trends and research which could enhance your productivity and profitability. Additionally, more than 100 exhibiting partners will participate in this year’s trade show (Dec 4-5) to teach you about how their latest products and services could benefit your business.
Finally, you will not want to miss this year’s keynote speaker presented by Syngenta. On Wednesday, Dec. 5, former Ohio State and NFL football player and current ESPN college football analyst, Chris Spielman will speak about Living with a Passion. He will also be available for autographs on the trade show floor following his presentation.
