Carolinas Superintendents Show Numbers Boost Golf Outlook

Commercial suppliers have come out early and strong in support of this year’s Carolinas Golf Course Superintendents Association Conference and Trade Show, scheduled for November 15 through 17 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Nearly 250 exhibit booths, or more than two-thirds of those available, have already sold. That number exceeds sales for the same time last year, even though registration opened nearly a month later this time around. The two-day trade show fills more than 100,000 square feet of floor space. Three days of seminars led by educators and researchers from across the country provide more than 100 hours of formal education for superintendents and their assistants on subjects ranging from water conservation to soil physiology.
