NJLCA Names New VP, Director of Operations
The New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association announced the selection of Bob Pedatella as vice president for 2010-2011 and the promotion of Gail Woolcott to the position of director of operations. Pedatella is president of Kodiak Landscape & Design and has been actively involved in NJLCA for more than 15 years. Woolcott was hired by the association in 2006 as a bookkeeper and has since served as office administrator.
ANLA Announces Winner of Job Board Contest
The American Nursery & Landscape Association announced the winner of the ANLA Job Board’s “Big Fish, Little Pond” contest. Ralph DeGregorio, a plant and soil scientist out of Arlington, Mass., won an Apple iPad for posting his resume on the job board.
Work Truck Show Returns to Indianapolis
The Work Truck Show will return to Indianapolis, Ind., for the next two years. The 2011 event will be held March 8-10 at the Indiana Convention Center. The 47th Annual National Truck Equipment Association Convention, education sessions and Green Truck Summit kick off March 7.
PLNA Hosts PANTS
The Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association hosted the 38th Penn Atlantic Nursery Trade Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa. PANTS welcomed over 500 exhibiting companies and thousands of buyers. The event included Nosh and Network with Jeffrey Scott, PANTS Picnic and PANTS Daybreaker sessions on Web site business promotion, social media methods and business opportunities with green infrastructure projects.
