John Deere ZTrak Tackles Fuel Costs with EFI

John Deere’s ZTrak PRO Z925 now has electronic fuel injection to help contractors with their fuel savings. The closed-loop injection system constantly monitors engine performance and responds to the load on the engine with the right amount of fuel, delivering maximum fuel efficiency for the conditions.

The 27 hp engine includes an exclusive Tuff Torq integrated transmission, which features 13cc piston-style pumps and 13cc wheel motors, as well as a cross-porting system that routes the coolest hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic pump doing most of the work.

The Z925 EFI offers a 54 or 60-inch 7-Iron PRO mowing deck. The 54-inch deck features mulch-on-demand technology that allows the operator to switch between mulching and side-discharging without leaving the seat.

Sweep Snow with Sno Broom

Pro-Tech has introduced five Sno Broom attachments for skid steers and compact tractors to complement its line of Sno Pusher containment plows. The brooms minimize the potential of damaging surfaces and excel at removing snow against curbs and walls and other hard-to-reach areas.

Skid steer models are available with 60, 72 and 84-inch broom widths and come with a universal coupler for attaching to equipment with various hydraulic flow ratings. And, they can be hydraulically angled 30 degrees left or right. The PTO-driven tractor model is 84 inches wide and is designed for units with at least 30 hp and comes standard with a three-point hitch.

Other standard features include storage stands, high-density poly bristles and a 155-degree brush hood. Maximum broom speed is 200 RPM.
