WEST FARGO, N.D. — Bobcat Company has joined with partners Rick and Julie Kreuter—hosts of the hit television show “Beyond the Hunt,” on The Outdoor Channel—for a fourth time to transform a Create & Conserve Habitat Event contest winner’s land into a natural wildlife habitat where native plants and animals will thrive.

Whether individuals hunt, fish, hike, camp or simply enjoy passing an afternoon in the great outdoors, Bobcat Company and the Kreuters recognize landowners’ aspirations to sustain the soil, water and wildlife that uniquely characterize their land as home for generations to come.

Through the Create & Conserve Habitat Event, Rick and Julie, along with a team from Bobcat Company, will operate a variety of Bobcat compact equipment and attachments—in conjunction with products from partnering sponsors—to assist the selected winner in completing the ultimate natural wildlife habitat. Projects may include digging a pond, creating a conservation plot, installing erosion control or planting native trees and shrubs.

Landowners who would like to restore their land back to a natural habitat can register to win the contest by describing their land conservation vision and submitting photos of their outdoor spaces at Bobcat.com/landing/createandconserve.

Contest submissions will be accepted through January 31, 2016, and judged on how well the land would serve as a natural wildlife habitat, as depicted by the submitted essay and photos. Four finalists will win sponsor prize packages and the grand-prize winner will receive a conservation project. The conservation project will take place in June of 2016.

Previous Create & Conserve contest winners include: John Oxley, Sandpoint, Idaho (2015); Keith Fortin, Whitehall, Montana (2014); and Jay and Samantha Prier, Mondamin, Iowa (2013).
