Brad Mitchell, maintenance manager of The Fockele Garden Company, has received the Professional Landcare Network’s Landscape Industry Certified Lawn Care Manager certification.
To earn this national certification, Mitchell had to pass exams covering the principles of warm-season and cool-season turfgrass establishment, growth, maintenance and troubleshooting. He also had to show a thorough understanding of essential turfgrass management practices and procedures that are standard in the green industry.
Mitchell joined The Fockele Garden Company in 2007 and is in charge of the day-to-day maintenance operation, customer relations, and instruction in horticulture and maintenance, as well as company-wide safety training. He manages more than 100 properties in four states.
