PHOENIX, Ariz. – Steve McCarter has assumed leadership of Ewing’s water management efforts, providing guidance, strategy and support for Ewing’s nationwide network of branch locations. McCarter will leverage his experience as a Landscape Architect and product sales manager roles in irrigation manufacturing, to support Ewing’s mission to help contractors and communities conserve water through the use of water efficient technologies and best management practices. His primary responsibilities will focus on sales development through marketing and promotions, vendor category management, product sales support and technical training and education. McCarter joined Ewing’s Water Management Team in April, offering support to contractors and Ewing branches in the central U.S., and working to expand the company’s drip irrigation product offering. Prior to Ewing, he spent 30 years working for several major irrigation manufacturers, most recently as a senior product sales manager covering the central U.S. McCarter will work closely with Hudson and Warren S. Gorowitz, who previously led the division for more than a decade and now serves as Ewing’s Vice President of Sustainability, in facilitating a smooth transition and supporting vendor relationships.
