PGMS Calls for Green Star Award Submissions

The Professional Grounds Management Society is looking for the entries for its Green Star Awards Program to bring national recognition to grounds management programs that exhibit a high degree of excellence in certain areas. These areas include sustainability practices, turf management, landscape design and more. There are 15 entry categories and three classes of awards: Grand Awards, Honor Awards and Merit Awards. Winning entries will be honored at the 2011 Awards Banquet as part of the annual School of Grounds Management and GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Ky.
Details about the contest, as well as an entry form, can be found at www.pgms.org/greenstars.htm. The deadline for entries is August 5, 2011.
