Technical papers and presentation abstracts are now being accepted for Technical Sessions at the 2013 Irrigation Show and Education Conference, Nov. 4-8 in Austin, Texas. To be considered, 150 word abstracts may be submitted online until Friday, April 5, 2013. 

Visit www.irrigation.org for the registration page. Once there, users will be prompted to create an account, which will give access to abstract guidelines and suggested topics as well as procedures and deadlines.

As a benefit of presenting, those selected will receive a complimentary full registration to the 2013 Irrigation Show. Travel and hotel expenses will be the responsibility of those presenters selected.

Abstracts must include concise, descriptive content that explains the value of the information. Papers and presentations must be non-proprietary and educational in nature, not sales or product-specific. They may include research, programs and case studies. Presentations must be made in English and translators are not permitted.

Presenters will be selected and notified the week of May 20. Upon acceptance, each speaker will be required to submit a $100 nonrefundable publishing fee by Wednesday, July 10, 2013, as well as a complete written paper by Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, for inclusion in the proceedings CD.

The Irrigation Association reserves the right to limit submissions to one paper per presenter. Acceptance is not guaranteed.
