5 Ways to Add Greenery to Your Clients’ Holiday Decor

With the holidays right around the corner, add these unique ideas for wreaths and garland to your landscape designs.

If you’re putting the final touches on your clients’ holiday décor this month, look for unexpected sources of greenery. Sure, we will always reach for evergreens when it comes to wreaths and garland, but there are other greens available to adorn homes this season.

1. A wreath made from succulents will be unexpected and add different textures and shades of green.

2. Preserved boxwood makes pretty wreaths, garlands, kissing balls and topiaries.

3. Magnolia leaves are popular in the South, and according to Southern Living magazine are great for containers and can even be spray painted red.

4. With its almost icy green hue, eucalyptus leaves are pretty for natural-looking wreaths and garland.

5. For traditional evergreens, Martha Stewart magazine suggests choosing blends that will evoke the aroma of the season: pine, cedar, balsam and juniper.
